Making Data Make Sense

Description: This professional learning experience helps educators bring the new New Jersey Data Literacy (DL) standards to life through high-leverage, research-based instructional routines that take just 10–15 minutes and can be embedded across subjects. Rather than waiting for publishers to catch up, this session empowers teachers to meaningfully integrate data work into their existing curriculum and classroom structures using accessible, transferable practices and local data that reflects their students and community. Educators will leave with ready-to-use routines and the confidence to start embedding data literacy right away—without overhauling their entire day.
